If a web page requires you to enter your user name on one page and then click through to the password page, KeyPad does not automatically recognize that the web page is the first step in a multi-step login.

So in order to teach KeyPad that you have arrived at a multi-page login site, click on the Name and Password button on the KeyPad toolbar:
